Elaine Meyer photo Hi, I'm Elaine. I help people find the information they need faster and make it more useful for them, while providing a pleasant experience along the way. I'm the Engineering Librarian at the University of Michigan Dearborn in Dearborn, Michigan.

Previously I worked as a User Experience Specialist/Information Developer for ProQuest, a digital information publisher in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

In 2009, I graduated from the University of Michigan School of Information, with concentrations in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and Library and Information Science (LIS).

Recent projects

MCLS website redesign
I was the project manager of a team of five tasked with completely overhauling the seven year old MCLS website, which was a nine month endevour. I also was responsible for project planning, user experience research, information architecture, working with the consultants who developed our site, content wrangling, and teaching staff how to appropriately write for the web, among many other things.
